Deputy Chief Abdul Pridgen
Deputy Chief Abdul Pridgen was born and raised in The Bronx, NY. He enlisted in the United States Navy following his senior year of high school and attended Cryptologic Technician Maintenance School. He was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan and served in Desert Storm. He was honorably discharged 1991 and transitioned into the United States Navy Reserve. Deputy Chief Pridgen is a retired United States Navy Chief Petty Officer.
Deputy Chief Pridgen was commissioned as a Fort Worth Police officer on December 11, 1992. He has served in a variety of assignments during his tenure including Narcotics, Zero Tolerance, Traffic, Operational Analysis, S.W.A.T., Intelligence, Homicide, Public Information Officer, Internal Affairs, Criminal Investigations, West Division Commander, and his current position as deputy chief of the Support Bureau. Deputy Chief Pridgen earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Dallas Baptist University. He holds an Advanced Peace Officer license, is a certified Police Instructor and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute and the FBI National Academy.

Deputy Chief Daniel Garcia
Deputy Chief Daniel Garcia oversees the Fort Worth Police Department’s Patrol Bureau, including the North Command, made up of the North, Central, and West Divisions and the South Command, made up of the South, East, and Traffic Divisions. The Aviation Division and Mounted Patrol also fall under Deputy Chief Garcia’s management. The Deputy Chief’s interest lies in the patrol function of the FWPD as it is the most basic, important core service the Department provides. Patrol Officers provide 24/7 emergency service to the City of Fort Worth, coming to the rescue whenever help is needed.
Deputy Chief Garcia has been with the Fort Worth Police Department for over 21 years with assignments in a variety of roles including Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, and Patrol Captain; he was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief in June 2011. Deputy Chief Garcia is proud to be the Department’s first Hispanic Captain.
Having spent most of his life in Fort Worth, Deputy Chief Garcia wishes to make the city he has grown to love a special and safe place for everyone. He is extremely proud of his association with the Fort Worth Police Department and appreciates the opportunity to work in the great city of Fort Worth. Deputy Chief Garcia believes that FWPD Officers are the best in the nation and is honored to serve in his position and be part of such a great team.

Deputy Chief Rhonda Robertson
Since joining the Fort Worth Police Department in 1985, Rhonda Robertson rose through the ranks and was appointed deputy chief in March of 2007. Deputy Chief Robertson currently oversees records and property storage and the fiscal, personnel, and fleet management functions of the Police Department. She is also responsible for Centralized Police Payroll, and is the Department’s liaison with the Crime Control and Prevention District Board. Deputy Chief Robertson has several years of experience commanding operations in Patrol, Internal Affairs, and the Criminal Investigation Division.
Deputy Chief Robertson has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Arts Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is also a graduate of the 210th Session of the FBI National Academy.
