Sandra Martin

Age: 28
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound
Sandra Martin was found deceased inside the residence. She had been bound, sexually assaulted, and shot. Her two young children were at home and in a different room at the time of the murder. The investigation revealed that the suspect may have gained entry posing as a potential buyer of the house, which was for sale.

James Hargroves

Age: 46
Cause of Death: Blunt Force Trauma       
James Hargroves was found deceased inside a residence that he shared with two other persons. There were no signs of forced entry; however, evidence of a struggle was apparent inside the residence. Mr. Hargroves was a volunteer for the Fort Worth Area Habitat for Humanity and served meals at a nearby soup kitchen for the homeless, known as Loaves and Fishes. He was a counselor and minister to Fort Worth area homeless people. He was killed during an apparent robbery.

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound
On July 25, 2004, Kiess Allison was standing outside his residence when two subjects drove up in a gold-colored vehicle. The two subjects then got out and confronted Mr. Allison in an apparent robbery attempt. Mr. Allison attempted to run from the suspects and was shot. He collapsed in the street a short distance away.

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Trauma
"Pops" was found deceased inside his apartment after not being seen for several days. There appeared to be no forced entry into his apartment, and indications are that he knew the suspects. He was the victim of an apparent robbery.

On July 4, 2004, the skeletal remains of Jose Martinez were found by children playing in a vacant field. Mr. Martinez lived in Waco, but was visiting relatives in Forest Hill. He left their residence in the early morning hours of May 15, 2004 and was never again seen by them. His car was found abandoned and burned in Cobb Park. He had been reported missing by family members in Forest Hill.

On the morning of July 25, 2004, Khamphosey "Kim" Louanlavong was discovered deceased inside her apartment behind her family's residence. She was last seen alive by her family the previous day.

Jaime Trevizo

Cause of Death: Stab Wound
Jaime Trevizo and his friends were leaving a N. Main Street bar when they observed several male suspects burglarizing their vehicle. Mr. Trevizo chased the suspects to a creme-colored 4 door vehicle, where he began fighting with them. The suspects pulled Mr. Trevizo into the vehicle and drove away. He was later found deceased on the street in the 2000 block of Clinton.

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Trauma
On May 14, 2003, Cynthia Miles was discovered deceased inside her apartment. The investigation revealed that Cynthia was probably killed the previous day in front of her two small children, who were still inside the apartment when her body was found.

On July 22, 1994, three males in possession of firearms walked into the Berry Street Detail Shop and attempted to rob the business. Curtis Roberson and a second subject were inside when the suspects entered. During the course of the robbery, Mr. Roberson was shot by the suspects and fatally injured.

On May 3, 1999, Ezekiel Barraza, also known as "Chico" left the Cowboy Cats Club located at Main and Exchange with several friends. His body was later found in the parking lot of the El Conejas Club at 1603 NE 28th. He had been shot in the back.

On January 28, 2001, Derek Locke was found in Cobb Park lying face down in the street beside his pickup truck. The time of death was determined to be between 5:15 am and 6:00 am when he was found. Robbery does not appear to be the motive.

On June 27, 1983, the victim left an Arlington motel room where she was living with her parents to empty trash into a nearby dumpster. She did not return and was found dead the following day in Fort Worth. Julie and her parents had recently arrived in the United States from England.

John Mitchell and his wife, Mary, were found deceased inside their residence by relatives. The residence had been ransacked and there were indications of a violent struggle.

On May 8, 2003, the victim was found burning on a bridge crossing the West Fork-Trinity River in the 5700 block of E. 1st Street. It was later determined that he died as a result of a gunshot wound. The victim had been reported missing from Arlington.

On March 3, 2002, Stanley Cohen was found deceased inside his place of business, the S&S Auto Parts Store. The business had been ransacked and there were indications of a violent struggle. The offense apparently took place shortly after the business had closed on Sunday afternoon. A stolen company truck was recovered in the parking lot of the Minyard's grocery store at the intersection of E. Berry and Miller Avenue, a short distance from the auto parts store.

On December 9, 1995, Jackie Myers contacted 9-1-1 from his apartment stating that he had been stabbed. By the time police arrived, he was unconscious. He was transported to the hospital, but died before being able to talk to officers. It was determined that the victim met the suspect earlier that night at an adult video store in west Tarrant County.

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound
On October 1, 1991, Kevin Hood was found deceased on the side of the road near Lake Arlington. He had apparently been robbed and his car stolen. His vehicle was later found at a service station near the intersection of John T. White and E. Loop 820. Kevin was an employee of the Fort Worth Independent School District.

On June 13, 1994, Mr. Freeman was at a pay telephone in front of Julie's Food Mart when he was shot during a suspected robbery or assault. He lived only blocks from the convenience store and apparently walked to the store to use the phone and listen to his "jam box" which was found next to him.

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to back     
On November 22, 1991, Mr. Garcia was at a large party at which several suspected gang members were in attendance. The party was taking place at a private residence. A large fight broke out and several gunshots were fired by unknown persons. Mr. Garcia was shot multiple times in the back and leg. He died as a result of injuries sustained in this offense.

Eduardo Lopez

Age: 18
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to head
Mr. Lopez was employed by Danal's Food Store. On May 29, 1994, an unknown Hispanic male armed with a handgun entered the store at closing time and proceeded to escort the manager to the office area where the safe was located. A second Hispanic male waited in the parking lot as an apparent lookout. During the course of the robbery, the victim approached the armed suspect and asked "what's up?" Mr. Lopez was then shot in the head by the suspect. The store manager was then locked in the freezer by the suspect.

On February 25, 1994, James McVey was found murdered in a warehouse parking lot. He was found shot and beaten by the side of his grey Ford pickup. His face was spray painted blue and gang graffiti was sprayed on his truck. Mr. McVey was last seen in the 3000 block of Avenue K at approximately 7 p.m. the day before. He had just dropped off some co-workers and then headed home towards Arlington. James was wearing a red and blue plaid jacket and blue jeans.

Cause of Death: Gunshot wound to chest
Ms Powell was exiting a convenience store on Lancaster when she was shot during an apparent robbery. She stumbled back into the store and collapsed. A short time later, a male was shot a a nearby apartment complex on Meadowbrook Drive during a robbery. He survived his injures, but it was determined that the same firearm was used in both offenses.

Brad Betts was fatally shot in his apartment on November 14, 2007 at 10:00 pm. Three men were in the apartment when he was shot. If you know who these men are or any other information about this case, please call Crime Stoppers.
Stephanie Bunn
Location: 3201 E. Lancaster Avenue
Date: December 10, 2005
During the early morning hours on December 10, 2005 Stephanie Bunn, 46 years old, was shot and killed at the Eco Inn.
James Meeks
Location: Cobb Park
Date: December 15, 2005
Fort Worth Police discovered the body of James Meeks, 37 years old, at Cobb Park in a ditch. He was shot once in the chest. He was from Dallas.
Jose Munoz
Location: 2837 E. Rosedale
Date: January 31, 2007
On Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 6:30 pm, Jose Munoz was at his business, Munoz Tire and Auto Repair. A hispanic male (20-22 yoa, 5'5-5'6, 165-170 lbs, short black hair, light complexion, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, dark mark or tattoo on right upper arm) drove up in a 2002-2003 red Dodge Ram 1500 4-door pickup. The suspect argued with Jose over the alleged damage to a tire rim. The suspect then shot and killed Jose. The suspect along with another man (driver of the pickup; hispanic male, 20s, 5'6, 170-180 lbs, round face, dark complexion, short black hair) fled the scene in the pickup.
