accepting applications for TCLEOSE Certified Peace Officers for
an abbreviated 12-week police academy
To
be considered an applicant for the abbreviated Academy |
Individuals
for this position must:
-
hold a
current Texas Peace Officer License issued by the Texas Commission
on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education, AND
-
have served
as a peace officer as defined in the Texas Code of Criminal
Procedure, Article 2.12, and have at least two (2) years of
work experience in a law enforcement patrol capacity.

that website.

Be
sure to bring your valid driver's license with you. If you are a
military veteran, please bring a copy of your DD214 (Member 4 form).
For
military veterans: An additional five (5) points will be added
to a passing examination score of an applicant who served in the
United States Armed Forces and received a honorable discharge. A
DD214 (Long Form-Member 4) must be presented at the time of application
that shows character of service. Military service credit will not
be added to a score if documentation is presented after the eligibility
list is created.
